Avalon Code

Avalon Code's storyline and gameplay revolve around the Book of Prophecy, located on the touch-sensitive bottom screen of the Nintendo DS. To record a person, monster, plant or weapon in the book's pages, the player does a "code scan" by hitting the target to be recorded with the book itself (which is always placed on the B button). The story revolves around a young farmer who has been plagued by prophetic nightmares for weeks. In his last dream, shown in the opening sequence, a mysterious voice speaks, revealing not only that the protagonist's world has undergone countless reincarnations in the past and is destined to continue the cycle of correction, destruction and rebirth until "true enlightenment" is achieved, but also that the main character himself has been commissioned by the powers that be to deem the people, places and things of the current world worthy (or unworthy) of passing on to the next world after the fiery purification.
