Story

In the ninth century AD, players lead Eivor's clan from Norway across the icy North Sea to the rich lands of the broken kingdoms of England. Players must build a new future for their clan, recreating the ruthless fighting style of the Viking warriors with a revamped combat system that offers the ability to fight with two weapons against a wider variety of enemies than ever before. To secure resources, players can lead raids with their longship to selected locations to gather much-needed riches and resources. As the Vikings begin to settle in their new homeland, they encounter resistance from the Saxons, including King Aelfred of Wessex, who denounces them as heathens and sets himself up as the sole ruler of a civilized England. Against all odds, Eivor must do what it takes to keep Valhalla within reach.[4]
