Arc the Lad II

This direct sequel to "Arc the Lad" continues the unfinished story of the first game, but starts from a completely different perspective. You control a bounty hunter named Elk, who suffers from amnesia. In search of his own true identity, he discovers the powers hidden within him and the fate of his entire tribe. In pursuit of his arch-enemy, Elk meets Arc, the hero from the first game, and both realize that they want to destroy the same evil. The combat system of "Arc the Lad II" is similar to that of its predecessor: In the battles, you can move your characters around the battlefield and your proximity to the enemies plays an important role. Depending on your position on the battlefield, you cause and take different amounts of damage. Unlike the first game, this game is a fully-fledged adventure/RPG, without the "strategy" feel of its predecessor. You move through the game world on your own, visiting towns and exploring dungeons.
