Alien vs. Predator
Based on the Alien vs. Predator comic series. In the 25th century, mankind has colonized many planets. On one of them, New Shanghai, strange creatures have been discovered. These aliens are wreaking havoc. New Shanghai sends out a distress call to other planets in the galaxy. A cloaked ship belonging to hunting creatures, the so-called Predators, intercepts the message. The Predators on board decide that these strange alien creatures could be worthy trophies for their collection. The player takes on the role of one of the Predators.
Story
The game is set on the planet Vega 4 in the city of New Shanghai. A work crew doing underground construction discovers a colony of aliens attacking them and then quickly come to the surface. The city is quickly overwhelmed by the aliens, but the citizens send a distress signal to Earth, which is also received by a passing Predator ship. The Predators decide to hunt the aliens on Vega 4, seeing them as challenging prey. The player fights their way through six stages in which they fight different types of aliens and bosses. Many of the bosses are aliens that have hatched in different animal species and therefore have characteristics of those animals. These include an aquatic alien hatched from a dolphin, a primitive alien hatched in a monkey, a winged alien hatched in a bat, and a snake-like alien. After the battle against the aliens on Vega 4, the Predator travels to the Orion Nebula to fight the Alien Queen.
