Agony

This side-scrolling shoot-’em-up features six long levels, all with detailed and serene background graphics, aiming for a less frantic gameplay experience than contemporary titles like “Project X.” As a sorcerer’s apprentice, you’ve been transformed into an owl to give you the best chance of destroying the many dark creatures you encounter and thus uncovering the secret of cosmic power. These dark creatures include piranhas, giant ants, and mosquitoes. You can collect additional weapons and invincibility bonuses. Technical features include 3 levels with multidirectional parallax scrolling, background animations, and distinct title and in-game music.
