A Legionary's Life

In A Legionary's Life, you take on the role of a Roman soldier in the years of the Second Punic War and beyond. Rise through the ranks and win prestigious awards or focus on getting home in one piece - it's up to you. It's a single-player game with RPG elements, extensive use of attribute and skill checks, a turn-based combat system with many variables (including morale, range, limited space and height) and a touch of roguelike features. This also includes permadeath. If you're not familiar with this term, it means that you have to start over if your character dies. But don't worry: the game is designed to be replayable and you'll only see a fraction of it on each playthrough. You can also spend points on your next Legionnaire depending on how well your most successful characters have performed.
