25 To Life
25 to Life is designed to play the tactical online action of a squad shooter in an open urban environment reminiscent of modern Grand Theft Auto games. 25 to Life offers two parallel perspectives on the same conflict: you either play as a law enforcer or a gangster. In both cases, players are equipped with the tools of their respective trade: police officers can use their superior firearms training or call in air support via helicopter, while gang members can choose from a wider range of weapons and use civilian hostages as human shields. The game has been designed with online play in mind, and multiple multiplayer modes are supported. Players can customize their characters with tattoos, branded clothing and other accessories and then compete online against other players in team deathmatch style. There is also a full-fledged single-player campaign where players take on the role of an aspiring city dweller who gets into trouble on both sides of the thin blue line. The single-player game's storyline was written by P. Frank Williams, known for his success as a writer, magazine editor and television producer. The game's soundtrack features tracks by rap artists Mos Def, DMX, Ghostface Killah and others.
