1954 Alcatraz

In this interactive point & click adventure from Daedalic Entertainment and Irresponsible Games - the team of Gene Mocsy - Joe and his wife Christine will be playable characters. Players will decide between love, betrayal, life and death: will Christine help Joe break out of prison? Will they win back the fortune together? Or will they succumb to greed? Will Christine cheat on her husband and get revenge for all the disappointments and a marriage that has brought her nothing but unhappiness? Will she simply turn her back on Joe and run off with his former accomplices? Or will Joe win it all in the end? 1954: Alcatraz has all the makings of a great adventure: challenging puzzles, a mature crime story with a dynamic plot and several possible outcomes, and a whole bunch of shady characters: brutal felons who make Joe's life on The Rock even harder, while outside, not only his accomplices but also snoopers and cops are after the money and Christine. Cinematic 1950s San Francisco, captured in a gritty comic book style, is a tough place. But it's also a place where 1954: Alcatraz also pays homage to history and the zeitgeist, in the form of beatnik culture and other contemporary themes.
